When you finish a daily puzzle, we record a single anonymous result (puzzle number, solved or not, number of guesses) so we can show community stats like "34% solved today's case." This contains no identifying information of any kind.

Every puzzle is drawn from widely reported, public-record events — court records, official rulings, and events that unfolded on live television. Nothing here is a new allegation; it's a trivia game about stories the whole world already covered. Allegedly.
