What we collect

ALLEGEDLY* has no accounts and no sign-up. Your streak, stats, and daily progress are stored only in your browser's local storage — they never leave your device. When you finish a daily puzzle, we record a single anonymous result (puzzle number, solved or not, number of guesses) so we can show community stats like "34% solved today's case." This contains no identifying information of any kind.

Advertising

We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings. Visitors in regions requiring consent will see a consent prompt before any personalized ads are served. Learn more about how Google uses data at policies.google.com.

Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand how many people play. We do not build profiles of individual visitors.

About the puzzles

Every puzzle is drawn from widely reported, public-record events — court records, official rulings, and events that unfolded on live television. Nothing here is a new allegation; it's a trivia game about stories the whole world already covered. Allegedly.
