The fastest way to reach a human is email: oneshotfilm@gmail.com. It goes to the person who makes the game, not a queue.
If a case contains a factual error, this is the most important mail we get. Please include the case number (it is at the top of every page in the Morgue) and, where you can, a link to a source. Corrections are made to the puzzle bank directly, so the fix propagates to the archive and to any future replay of that case.
Suggestions are welcome, with one hard filter: the event has to be a matter of public record. A conviction, a civil judgment, an official ruling, or something that happened on camera in front of an audience. If the only source is a rumour, a blind item from another outlet, or an anonymous tip, it cannot run here no matter how good the story is. See editorial standards for the full test.
Good pitches include: who, what happened, roughly when, and where it was reported or ruled on.
If the game misbehaves — a streak that vanished, a clue that will not open, a puzzle that will not accept an obviously correct answer — please say which browser and device you were on. Streaks and stats live in your browser's local storage, so clearing site data or playing in private browsing will reset them; that one is expected behaviour rather than a bug.
If you are the subject of a case, or represent them, and believe the case is inaccurate or should not run, write to us and it will be reviewed properly and promptly. The public-record rule means every case should be defensible on the facts, but "defensible" and "correct" are not always the same thing, and we would rather be correct.

The Tipline is the game's daily email — tomorrow's case, so a streak never dies to simple forgetfulness. Every edition carries a one-click unsubscribe that takes effect immediately. We do not sell or share the list. If unsubscribing ever fails to work, that is a bug and we want to hear about it.
