During Hurricane Irene in August 2011, a lightning fire destroyed Richard Branson's Necker Island home while Kate Winslet was a guest; she carried Branson's 90-year-old mother Eve out of the house. Branson said afterwards that Winslet "swept her up into her arms and got them out of the house as fast as possible."
