John Cena's record 650 Make-A-Wish wishes

In 2022, this wrestler-turned-movie-star you can't see set a Guinness World Record that may never be broken — more than 650 wishes granted for one children's charity, the most of any person in its history.

The full story

Guinness World Records recognized John Cena in 2022 for granting 650 Make-A-Wish wishes — the most ever by one person. That June he also drove from Amsterdam to meet Misha, a 19-year-old fan with Down syndrome displaced from Ukraine.

The clues we handed out

— That same year he drove across Europe to meet a teenage fan with Down syndrome who had fled the war in Ukraine.

— The charity is Make-A-Wish; he has reportedly never declined a request.

— His catchphrase involves waving a hand in front of his face.

— He went from 16-time WWE champion to playing a very literal-minded Peacemaker.

— Initials: J.C.
